Cancellations

Before 4:00 PM:

• If the township closes the diamonds, they will notify the TCMB executive by 4:00 PM.
• TCMB executive will immediately email all affected coaches, TCMB families and the Umpire In Chief.
• If the cancellation affects a game, coaches must email the opposing coach to inform them of the cancellation.
• If you don’t hear from us by 4:00 PM, assume the diamonds are open.

After 4:00 PM:

• It’s up to the coach to decide whether to cancel due to changing weather.
• If you cancel, you must do the following:
• Email info@tcmb.ca at least 30 minutes before your scheduled diamond time. This allows us to get a rental credit from the township.
• Notify your players and parents right away.
• If it’s a game, also email the opposing coach and the Umpire in Chief (lnichol@wilmotthunder.com).

Important:

• The first time you forget to notify TCMB, there’s no charge.
• If it happens again, your team will be billed $80.
• If the umpire cancels a game at the field, TCMB covers the umpire cost.

Please ensure you follow these steps to avoid any unnecessary charges and help us maintain good communication with the township and other teams.
